Podcasting Just Isn't My Thing!

I guess there are just some tricks that you can't teach this old dog, and narrating a podcast is one of them! I hate to admit defeat, but after trying to put together my first podcast, I have come to the conclusion that it just isn't for me. I have no problem in answering questions when asked, but trying to read from a script or listen to myself talk just doesn't work for me. I have the same problem when I conduct training sessions at my full-time job (you know, the one that pays the bills!) - I love imparting my knowledge to others, but I need the feedback and interaction from others to truly enjoy the process. Narrating a podcast just doesn't do that for me, and in a matter of hours, I started hating the process.

So...I'm going to focus my energies on keeping my ancestry website and blog posts up to date, and continue writing. That means that if you want to learn about how I do my research, or learn about my amazon family, you will just have to take the time to read my updates. Of course I will always help anyone on a one-to-one basis if you have any questions that you think I may be able to help with.
