An American Revolution

As I post my latest blog, it is Election Day in the United States of America. While America chooses her future leader, I have been exploring my ancestral past which has many ties to significant American events. Over the past few weeks I have been discovering my many Pilgrim ancestors, original settlers of New England, and their impact on the great country of America.

I have just uploaded a new page dedicated to one such American hero, Ethan Allen, General of the Vermont Militia, Colonel of the Continental Army, and recognized by General George Washington himself for the sacrifices Allen made for the fledgling United States of America. My 3rd cousin - an American Hero.
