The Search Continues

This has been a very busy week for me so I have not been updating my website as often as I would like. However, I did manage to post a page about my Great-Great Grandfather, Charles James Crosby. He is the inspiration for some of my family research as I have been unable to locate his parents and found out that he was orphaned by age 10 and sent to live at a Catholic orphanage in York (now Toronto). Only recently I discovered he was born in Niagara Falls, New York and not in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Finding information about Charles should have been easy - he was born Catholic so I figured that the Catholic Church would have excellent records and be helpful in my search. I was wrong.

He is one of the main people I would like to be able to track so the search continues.

On my paternal lineage the surprises just keep coming and coming. I have an almost unbelievable group of famous ancestors, tied into business people, nobility and Royalty. I have also found ties to famous celebrities from the 1800's and 1900's so there is a real treasure trove of information and stories to come. All I need is the time to collect and coordinate everything and hopefully put all the information together in a fun, informative and respectful manner.
