I know I have not posted for awhile, but I had been "stuck" on a branch of the family tree that was confusing me. Finally, after several days of research, I found that I actually had 2 different 4th cousins from different branches of my family, marry into the same family, the Giffords. To further complicate matters, I then found that 2 members of the Fitzhardinge family (again, different branches but related) married into the Gifford family as well.
This caused quite the confusion with the automated Family Tree program and took days, and the use of more than one computer at a time, to map everything out. I finally got it all figured out - a bit like trying to untangle dried spaghetti - but I did it. In the process I found yet another tie to Queen Victoria, King Edward VII and King George V.
Check out the new page on Thomas Arthur Fitzhardinge-Kingscote to see what I found.
